Open House Parties Every other Thursday: 8:30-10pm
Our bimonthly open house parties are a great way to check out ballroom dance if you’re a first-timer. Open to the friends and guests of Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta, an open house party allows new students to showcase their newly learned dances through a floor show performance.
We make it an elegant affair with champagne, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables. It’s the perfect time for new students to shine and potential students to meet our instructors and familiarize themselves with the personalized instruction and care we offer our students.
Any student who brings a guest also has the opportunity to earn lessons from our studio as our way of showing gratitude for introducing Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta to your friends.
Weekly Practice Party, Friday’s: 8:30-10pm
A weekly dance opportunity for students of all levels and open only to Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta members, these practice parties are the perfect chance to meet others who are also learning to dance or have made dance a lifetime hobby. Every Friday from 8:30 to 10:00pm we offer a DJ who will keep the party moving and a venue for you to try everything from the Foxtrot and Salsa to Waltzes and Swing along with all the other dance styles we teach.
As with our lessons, there’s no pressure to perform every step perfectly, but our instructors will be available during practice parties to answer any questions you may have about steps, form, or technique. From beginners to pros, these dance parties are a way for all our students to just cut loose and have a good time.
Monthly Soirées, First Saturday of the month: 8-10pm
Held at our expansive Duluth studio, the Saturday Soirée is a great way to meet people and socialize with other students who also enjoy the benefits ballroom dancing provides . For amateurs only, the monthly soirée provides another venue to practice the steps you’ve learned in private and group lessons and show off what you’ve learned. Whether you attend with or without a partner, instructors and regular attendees will be there to help and provide you with a great time. There is a $10 charge per person for Saturday Soirées.
